ABOUT THE COURSE

The Hinayana or “Path of “Individual Liberation” is covered in the first volume of the recently published three-volume set, The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma. These texts are a wonderfully edited and organized compilation of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche's teachings given at thirteen years of annual three-month seminary programs for advanced students.

The topics covered in this course are the initial or entry stages into the path, the three jewels, the non-theistic nature of taking refuge in the three jewels, the nature and development of discipline, and detailed instructions on the practice of meditation.
